Hotels

Please Read Carefully

UPDATE 5/21/2021:  Some hotels are at capacity and cannot accept any more reservations.  Currently that's the Westin, Hilton Garden, Holiday Inn, and Hampton Inn.

The Downtown Jackson Convention Center Hotel HAS BEEN CLOSED. It has been auctioned off. We have been told it probably will not be opened back up till the fall. We have had people say they were able to call and book a room there. Visit Jackson has told us that should not be happening. Please do not assume you have a room at that hotel. We are going to follow up with the Marriott to find out why it is letting people book rooms when it is closed.

Also if you booked a room without going through us – please send email to Mary Ann at regchair@70nsdc.com and let her know where you are staying. Visit Jackson will be helping our convention with a donation based on the number of people we put in hotel rooms, but we must tell them where they are. Yellow Rocks for helping the convention.

All room reservations must be made through Jackson Housing Services, utilizing the online housing reservation system or on your registration (long) form —hotels will NOT take reservations directly.

You MUST register to attend the convention before submitting your hotel reservation request. The 70th NSDC Housing Committee and Jackson Housing Services will monitor the block closely to ensure that only registered dancers have secured reservations. Reservations cannot be honored if they are not supported by a corresponding registration.

To take advantage of the discounted room rates, reservations must be made by Sunday, May 30, 2021. After that you will still book your rooms through us to get the discounted price but the hotel will not be holding the rooms for us so they may fill up and us not be able to get you in the hotel you want. We may have to see what your second hotel is you prefer.

All reservations must be guaranteed by credit card. The credit card may be charged one-night deposit at the time the reservation is made and an alternate form of payment may be presented at check-in.

A four-day bus pass is available from all hotels for $50.00 per person. Please mark on your registration (long) form. (Note: the bus pass increases to $60.00 in May 2021.)
